M. Çiğdem Uçar, a PhD student in Materials Science and Nanoengineering at Sabancı University, presented a poster prepared as part of her doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Serkan Ünal, a faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, at The Polymer Processing Society 41st International Conference (PPS-41), held in Paestum, Italy, from May 31 to June 4, 2026.

The poster, titled “Structure–Property Correlations in Waterborne Polyurethanes Containing PDMS Segments of Varied Topologies,” which examined the effects of different PDMS topologies on the structural and performance properties of water-based polyurethanes, was selected from among 280 papers presented at the conference and won the “First Poster Award.”
