On March 4, 2026, Sabancı University hosted a special gathering of its entrepreneurial women alumni at Karaköy Minerva Han. Sixteen women entrepreneurs operating in various sectors participated in the event, sharing their brands, entrepreneurial journeys, and field experiences in a warm and interactive environment.
Participants shared the challenges they faced in establishing their businesses, critical turning points, and success stories, both inspiring others and providing opportunities for mutual learning. The discussions, centered around topics such as the uncertainties of the entrepreneurial journey, access to finance, team building, sustainable growth, and brand positioning, once again highlighted the strength of shared experiences.
In the second part of the event, Büşranur Tenik Özdemir from Sabancı University's Entrepreneurship Center SUCOOL gave a presentation. Özdemir delivered a comprehensive overview of the current dynamics of the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Türkiye and globally, existing support and funding mechanisms, acceleration programs, and the university's work in the field of entrepreneurship. The presentation also featured points of contact and collaboration opportunities that alumni can establish with SUCOOL.
The meeting provided a strong networking environment where the foundations of new collaborations were laid among our alumni, and experience sharing and solidarity were highlighted.
