“Age-Friendly Workshop”, Was Organized in Collaboration with Civic Involvement Projects and Şişli Municipality

The first training of the “Age-Friendly Workshop”, an education program suitable for all ages with an innovative and rights-based perspective without discriminating according to age, socio-economic structure, and gender, was held at Karaköy Minerva Han on Friday, March 24, in cooperation with Şişli Municipality and Sabancı University Civic Involvement Projects.

The opening speech of the program was made by Şişli Municipality Deputy Mayor Kazım Artut. In this program organized as part of Respect for the Elderly Week, İlkem Kayıcan Dipcin, one of the instructors of our university, gave “Critical Digital Literacy” training. Age-Friendly Workshop is planned to continue with applied and theoretical course content from social sciences to natural sciences.
