The Connect4Tech events organized within the scope of the DIMAP project, aiming to shed light on the future of digital and additive manufacturing technologies, will be held in Istanbul, Bursa, and Kocaeli in February.
The Connect4Tech events are organized within the scope of the DIMAP project, which is carried out in cooperation with the additive manufacturing process laboratories within the Sabancı University Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research and Application Center (IMC) and developed to contribute to the direct digital manufacturing level of SMEs in Turkey. The events, focusing on the aviation, automotive, and composite material sectors, aim to accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs and strengthen industry-academia collaborations.
The meeting point of industry and academia
The event series, which will start in Istanbul between February 18 and 20, will continue in Bursa on February 25 and in Kocaeli on February 27. Expert speakers in the field will share the latest developments in additive manufacturing technologies with the participants. A panel will be held during the event where new-generation digital manufacturing and innovation issues will be discussed. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to get to know the transformation processes in the sector more closely in the chat session on the adaptation of data-based smart manufacturing technologies in the industry.
In addition, information will be provided about the training to be provided to SMEs within the scope of the DIMAP Project and the DIMAP Portal. During the event, participants will be able to access financial support mechanisms and establish new business connections by having one-on-one meetings about R&D funds.
Supported by the European Union Delegation, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Sabancı University, and many other important institutions, Connect4Tech is a candidate to shape the future of manufacturing technologies. Bringing together representatives of the industry and academia, this event will also pave the way for important decisions that determine the future of the sector.
