About Dr. Alper Sarıkan

Dr. Alper Sarıkan graduated from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University in 1997. He then completed his master's degree at Gazi University in 2001 and earned his Ph.D. in 2010.

Dr. Sarıkan began his professional career as an R&D engineer at Karel Electronics, where he developed numerous embedded software and hardware projects. He also worked as a web services architect during this time.

In 2005, he took on the role of design leader in the telecommunications sections of the R&D department at Karel Electronics. In this position, he served as an experienced technical architect, contributing to the evaluation and design of corporate software-hardware development projects.

In 2008, Dr. Sarıkan was appointed as team leader in the R&D department. Today, he continues his work as the Deputy General Manager New Technologies Business Unit President at the Karel Electronics R&D Center. Additionally, he works as a lecturer in the Computer Engineering department at Bilkent University.
