The General Assembly meeting of Venice International University (VIU), along with the Board of Directors and the Academic Council Meetings, were held at Sabancı University Tuzla Campus on Friday 8 November.
Venice International University (VIU) is an international center for higher education and research located on the island of San Servolo, in Venice, Italy. It was established on December 15, 1995 as a consortium, now encompassing 23 leading universities and institutes from various countries around the world, including:

In addition to attending the meetings, the representatives of the member universities have visited the faculty buildings of Sabancı University, and the special exhibition dedicated to Aldus Manutius, the revolutionary book publisher of the Renaissance era. The Manutius Exhibition, originally launched at the 2024 Frankfurt Book Fair, was made possible through a collaboration of VIU and Sabancı University faculty members, Selcuk Artut and Onur Yazicigil, of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS).
