Sabancı University Engineering and Natural Sciences Emeritus Faculty Member Gündüz Ulusoy has recently co-authored a book titled "An Introduction to Project Planning and Modeling" is published by Springer Verlag. 

It is a textbook with xix+482 pages, 15 chapters, 319 exercises at the end of the chapters, and 5 case studies. As supplementary material, a Solution Manual for the exercises and PowerPoint slides of all chapters for in-class teaching or as a guide for self-study are provided. For further details, one can refer to https://lnkd.in/egUJfi7. This textbook is intended to provide theoretical and practical aspects of project modeling, planning, and scheduling to undergraduates and first-year graduate students in engineering and management programs, as well as practitioners seeking to solidify their knowledge of project management. Most of the material covered emerged from the class notes shared with the students at both undergraduate and graduate levels and has been improved over the years by their remarks and suggestions. The book aims at explaining the basic concepts and methods of project management, especially project planning and scheduling with an emphasis on mathematical modeling.
