The Industry-Focused Projects Program Continues to Receive New Project Applications Until August 29th

The deadline for applications for the new term of the Sabancı University Industry-Focused Projects Program is August 29, 2025! To date, 92 of Turkey's leading institutions have participated in the Industry-Focused Projects Program. You can submit your project proposals by completing the proposal form to sop@sabanciuniv.edu.

Industry-Focused Projects is a program where institutions develop projects based on their priority research topics in collaboration with Sabancı University (SU). The program consists of projects by 4th-year undergraduate students, mentored by participating institutions and SU faculty members, within the "Graduation Project" course of the SU curriculum. The project is owned by the relevant industry institution; SU and the participating institution implement the project jointly.

134 Projects Successfully Completed in 9 Years

As part of the Industry-Focused Projects Program, which has been ongoing for 9 years, 134 projects have been successfully completed to date with the participation of 92 companies. 453 Sabancı University students gained real-world work experience before graduation.

Extensive Research Opportunities, Concrete and Innovative Solutions

The Industry-Focused Projects Program offers participating institutions many significant advantages. The program enables research topics that are on the research agenda of industrial institutions but have resource constraints such as human resources, time, and technical equipment to be developed and implemented through university collaboration.

It offers the opportunity to benefit from Sabancı University's rich research environment and the intellectual wealth of its faculty and researchers. The fourth-year students who will work on the projects create an effective human resource pool for industrial institutions and also provide them with the opportunity to meet and develop potential colleagues.

One of the most advantageous aspects of the program is the ability to propose concrete and innovative solutions to concrete problems, transforming ideas into products.
