Our graduate Özgün Demir was selected among the healthcare leaders under 40 in the US.

Özgün Demir

Özgün Demir, who did an internship at Eczacıbaşı in the last two years of his undergraduate education at Sabancı University and then started working part-time at Pfizer, received a job offer from Pfizer before he graduated. Demir, who was appointed as Emerging Markets Europe Solution Manager within two years, started working at Bayer in 2012 as Digital Marketing Manager for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East Region. During this period, he completed his master's degree at Boğaziçi University. Our graduate Özgün Demir, who was appointed as Bayer America Digital Marketing Deputy Director in 2014, continued to work as Digital Strategy Executive Director at Novartis from 2017 to 2022 in New York. He moved to California in 2022 and was appointed head of digital marketing strategies at Genentech/Roche.

Özgün Demir also teaches digital marketing, social media, and analytics at Centenary University. He serves on the university's executive board. Additionally, he provides consultancy to prominent companies in the technology and health sectors such as Google, Doximity, and Eversana.

Özgün Demir was selected as an Elite Digital Marketer in 2020, after being among the top 40 people who radically changed the American healthcare industry in 2018. Finally, in 2024, he won an award by being included in the list of "The 40 most important people under 40".

Our graduate continues to shape the future of the healthcare industry as a speaker on artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and organizational strategy at America's leading conferences.
