Müjdat Çetin receives the IET Premium Award

Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) faculty member Müjdat Çetin, together with former FENS visiting researcher Sadegh Samadi, and Mohammad Ali Masnadi-Shirazi, has received the 2013 IET Radar, Sonar & Navigation Premium Award for the paper: Sparse representation-based synthetic aperture radar imaging, S. Samadi, M. Cetin,  M.A. Masnadi-Shirazi, IET Radar, Sonar & Navigation, volume 5, issue 2, pp. 182 – 193, 2011.


The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is Europe's biggest professional society for the engineering and technology community, with more than 154,000 members in 127 countries. Each year the IET awards a prize to the authors of the best paper published within the last two years in each of the IET’s journals.
