A Nano Open Seminar entitled "SMEs and Digital Transformation" will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, April 13 2022 by Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center. Tuğçe Sağdur Akdik, R&D and Technology Department Manager at Istanbul Chamber of Industry, will be the speaker at the seminar.
Akdik will provide information about the activities and projects carried out by Istanbul Chamber of Industry in order to support the digital transformation of SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises). Akdik will also share information about MIND4MACHINES, an EU project coordinated by Istanbul Chamber of Industry and supported in the framework of Horizon2020 program. MIND4MACHINES aims to provide financial support for efforts of SMEs and start-ups generating smart digital solutions for the manufacturing sector in the field of industry 4.0, and create a multiplier effect through accelerator program and other project activities.
About Tugce Sagdur Akdik
Tugce Sagdur Akdik received her bachelor’s degree from Food Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. She is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) which refers to a professional credential for Technology Transfer or Knowledge Exchange professionals to designate individuals with advanced knowledge and experience. She has 15 years of experience in the field of knowledge and technology transfer. She worked as EU Projects Responsible at Kalite Sistem Group - Mérieux Nutrisciences and focused on grant development and management as well as business development activities for 6 years. She was involved in many successful EU Projects in terms of project coordination and proposal development.
She started to work at Ozyegin University (OzU) Technology Transfer Office (TTO), one of the most successful and leading TTOs in Turkey, just after its establishment. She worked at OzU TTO for 8,5 years and mainly focused on university-industry collaboration, grant development, IPR management, commercialization and entrepreneurship activities. She took role as the TTO Manager. She gave mentorship in the establishment of other TTOs in different regions of Turkey and gave different trainings, especially on proposal writing and university-industry collaboration.
Tugce Sagdur Akdik has been working as the manager of R&D and Technology Department of Istanbul Chamber Industry since July 2021.
