The 2019 Academy of Science Young Scientists Awards (BAGEP) were presented at a ceremony held in Hacettepe University. Four members of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (FENS) and three members of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) won awards.

A team of bioengineers from Sabancı University and Nova Southeastern University (NSU), located in Florida, USA are developing a personalized treatment method that is expected to increase the impact and efficiency of current immunotherapy methods, and allow wide-scale implementation. 

"Industry-Oriented Projects" is an example of university-industry partnership where industrial companies implement projects in association with Sabancı University to address their key priorities.
