Sabancı University faculty member Dr. Banu Turnaoğlu Açan and University of Essex faculty member Dr. Camila Vergara have signed a significant international research collaboration agreement with their joint project, "Empowering Women in Legal Research for Democratic Resilience and Constitutional Renewal in Turkey," supported by the British Council International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF). The project aims to strengthen academic collaboration between Sabancı University and the University of Essex and to contribute to discussions on democratic resilience and constitutional issues in Türkiye from a gender perspective.

Groundless Istanbul, a solo exhibition by Murat Germen, faculty member at Sabancı University’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, opened at Collect Gallery on December 19 and will remain on view until February 2026.

The Year-End Member Meeting organized by the Turkish Corporate Governance Association (TKYD) was held at the Istanbul Chamber of Industry. During the meeting, a collaboration protocol was signed between TKYD and the Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum. The Corporate Governance Evaluation Report prepared by Sabancı Business School faculty members Dr. Ozan Duygulu and Dr. Tevhide Altekin was also shared with the public.

The 19th IICEC Conference, organized by Sabancı University's Istanbul International Center for Energy and Climate (IICEC), was held under the theme "The Present and Future of Energy Security in the World and Türkiye: Risks and Solutions in Critical Minerals."

The Sabancı University Economics and Management Club (EIK) honored individuals and programs closely followed by young people with the EIK Award Ceremony.

The Lightweight, Sustainable and Energy-efficient Designs and Production Methods for Upcycled Graphene Reinforced Hybrid Composites (Light-G-Comp) project conducted its 9-month progress review through a series of high-level technical meetings and site visits held on 21st–22ndNovember 2025 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Sabancı University Awards in Arts and Sciences, which aim to make the university's academic output and social contribution visible, were presented at a ceremony held for the first time this year as part of the Sabancı University Year-End Program. The ceremony, held within the framework of the year-end program, marked the beginning of a new award tradition that highlights Sabancı University's achievements in academic and research fields.

The results of the annual Teaching Awards Survey, traditionally conducted at our university, have been announced. Determined by student votes, the 2025 Teaching Awards honor academicians and teaching assistants for their achievements and contributions to education.
