Representing Turkey’s space and aviation vision by bringing together leading figures in the field, the National Space Program Summit welcomed the participation of Sabancı University Rocket Team SUROC, where the team introduced its rocket named GÖKSU at its own stand. Developed with a 3 km altitude target, GÖKSU stood out with its reusability, carbon-fiber structure, and high-precision flight electronics, clearly reflecting the team’s technological and engineering expertise in the field.

The application process has begun for the 2026-2027 Mercator-IPC Research Fellowship Program, run by Sabancı University, the Istanbul Policy Center, and the Stiftung Mercator Initiative. The program's main themes are EU-Germany-Türkiye Relations and Climate Change. Academics, journalists, and experts from Germany and Europe, or those with strong ties to German society, can apply until March 9th.
