Sabancı University Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Bioengineering PhD graduate Dr. Melike Berksöz has achieved great success by being awarded the SciLifeLab PULSE postdoctoral scholarship supported by the European Union’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND program.

The nomination process for the Extracurricular Activities Awards Ceremony, organized to recognize outstanding student events at Sabancı University, has officially begun. With its revamped concept introduced last year, this year’s ceremony promises to be even more exciting and vibrant.

Sabancı University, celebrating its 25th year, held its 23rd term undergraduate and 26th term graduate commencement ceremony.

Organized by Civic Involvement Projects, the second edition of "Human Library: The Books that Read" was held on June 25, 2025, at Sabancı University’s Altunizade Digital Campus, with the aim of creating a dialogue space among individuals who had previously participated as "books" in the Human Library.

Sabancı University will host an exclusive online training event titled “From Outputs to Outcomes: Building a Compelling Impact Narrative in Horizon Europe”, organized as part of the Horizon Europe Twinning Project enCRYPTON. This event, taking place on July 11, 2025, from 11:30 to 15:30, will be held via Zoom and is open to all researchers and experts from project development and management teams seeking to strengthen their impact planning and proposal writing skills for Horizon Europe.

The Women in Leadership Program, which was implemented for Turkish Women Leaders in collaboration with Sabancı University Executive Development Unit, EDU, and Turkish Business Council Dubai & Northern Emirates, has been completed.

The countdown has begun for the Sabancı University 2025 Commencement Ceremony. The Commencement Ceremony, at which our Founding Chair of the Board of Trustees Güler Sabancı and our President Yusuf Leblebici will deliver opening speeches, will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, on Sabancı University Tuzla Campus.

QS, a London-based higher education ranking organization, has announced the 2026 World University Rankings.

Sabancı University participated in the Times Higher Education Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSP) 2025 held in Istanbul on June 16–19, 2025. Bringing together universities, public institutions, the private sector, and civil society representatives on a global scale, the congress provided an important platform to discuss common solutions in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On 17 June 2025, representatives of Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyUHK) visited the Sabanci University campus and met with the university administration.
