Sabancı University will host Professor Behzad Razavi, one of the world's leading scientists in the field of semiconductor and communication technologies, for a special seminar. Razavi, a faculty member of the Department of Electrical Engineering at UCLA, will discuss high-frequency receiver architectures and low-power design approaches developed for 6G wireless systems.

Prof. Hugues de Thé, a world-renowned scientist known for his groundbreaking work in cancer research, will give a conference at the Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum. The conference, titled “Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia, a Paradigm for Cure by Targeted Therapies,” will take place on Wednesday, April 1st, at 10:30 AM at the Sabancı University Sakıp Sabancı Museum.

The third annual Traditional SUBUH Iftar, held at Sabancı University, brought together academics, administrative staff, and students for a meaningful gathering. The event, held on March 5, 2026 / 15 Ramadan 1447, hosted over 1100 participants from various regions of Türkiye and the world.

The third meeting of the “Plastocene Talks” seminar series, organized by the Istanbul Policy Center (IPC) – Sabancı University – Stiftung Mercator Initiative, under the leadership of 2025/26 Mercator-IPC Researcher Sedat Gündoğdu, and in collaboration with the Plastic-Free Türkiye Platform, was held on March 11th at the IPC Karaköy.

The new event in the series of single-guest conferences organized by the Istanbul-based international typography platform ISType under the title "Mono" will feature type designer Valerio Monopoli. The event, on March 26th, will serve as a preview of the conference that ISType will hold in Istanbul in September, bringing together the international typography world.
