Our alumnus Aydın Aysu wins National Science Foundation CAREER Award

Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Microelectronics Program 2008 undergraduate and Electronics Engineering Program 2010 master's graduate Aydın Aysu, has received a Faculty Early Career Development award, also known as the CAREER Award, from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The award is one of the highest honors given by NSF to young faculty members in science and engineering.

Aydın Aysu is currently a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University. NSF will provide $438,000 in funding over five years to support Aysu’s project, “Physical Side-Channels Beyond Cryptography: Transforming the Side-Channel Framework for Deep Learning.”
