Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences students Cansu Topaloğlu and Yağmur Tomruk won first place in the Sustainable and Environmental Technology category of the Turkcell Technology Leaders of Tomorrow competition, with their graduation project.
Cansu Topaloğlu and Yağmur Tomruk were among the teams that made it to the finals with their project entitled “Energy Efficient Smart Glass Design”. The project, which was evaluated in the Sustainability and Environmental Technology category, received full points in the jury evaluation and was awarded first place in this category.
The Technology Leaders of Tomorrow competition organized by Turkcell is a competition where university students implement innovative technology projects. The competition was held with the participation of undergraduate students from all over Turkey. This year, 406 projects applied for the competition, and as a result of the preliminary evaluations, 36 projects made it to the semi-finals and 15 projects made it to the finals.
