Pre-SUCool, our pre-incubation program for early stage startup candidates, was completed on the evening of May 21, 2024, with presentations of 5 startups.
The pre-SUCool program, supervised by SUCool Programs Leader Naci Kahraman and coordinated by İlayda Saydam, Kadir Zabün, Sanim Zeiingabyl, Senih Kırmaç and Erkam Sait Aygün, who are part of the SUCool student team, ended with the presentation event held on May 21, 2024.
Pre-SUCool offers a program for those who want to get to know the world of entrepreneurship, find a business idea or team member, or want to take their existing startups to a further stage.
The program provided a preliminary preparation process before incorporation and offered various trainings, workshops and mentoring sessions to more than 50 entrepreneur candidates. During the program, participants developed their own startups by benefiting from the experiences of successful entrepreneurs and people. Pre-SUCool hosted Serkan Türkoğlu from Base-Hub Advisory, Sabancı University lecturer Türkan Yosun, professor who previously worked at Sabancı University and co-founder of Vispera, Prof. Dr. Aytül Erçil and Sabancı University graduate and co-founder of Smartup Network Güçlü Talu. They provided sessions on creative thinking, idea development, business model and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) creation. The participants also had the opportunity to develop their projects by having individual meetings with mentors.
After forming their business ideas and teams, the participants completed the program requirements: business model canvas, roadmap and investor presentation documents. In addition, the program offered the opportunity to find teammates through various activities and enjoyful meetups.
Entrepreneurs who met the requirements for completion of the pre-SUCool program presented their projects at the closing event and received feedback. Teams will continue to benefit from the SUCool Incubation Center's workspaces and business network. Graduates of the program will receive priority in other startup and capital support programs managed by SUCool, starting from “BiGG3INN” (https://www.bigg3inn.com).
