Euronova, founded by Sabancı University faculty member Prof. Dr. Burcu Saner Okan, has been named a runner-up at Hello Tomorrow Türkiye 2026 for its work in the field of sustainable plastics and circular materials.

The Hello Tomorrow Challenge is an international platform that brings together deep-tech startups from various sectors, aiming to connect science-based, innovative solutions with the industrial and investment ecosystem. The recognition received by Euronova on this platform highlights the significance of sustainable material technologies among the diverse range of deep-tech solutions being developed today.
Euronova develops next-generation sustainable plastic materials using resources such as recycled polymers, natural fibers, and reclaimed carbon fiber. The company aims to advance these materials beyond the research phase, transforming them into competitive solutions suitable for use in the automotive, home appliance, and other industrial sectors.
University-industry collaborations play a crucial role in transitioning these solutions into industrial applications. Euronova’s partnerships with companies operating in both Türkiye and international markets, such as Farplas, Renault, Aksa Carbon, and Beko, help ensure that the materials being developed effectively address industrial needs.
