Sabancı University alumni gathered on campus once again for the Alumni Reunion held on Sunday, October 11. Attended by 458 alumni and their families, the event offered an opportunity for old friends to reconnect, reminisce about their university years, and create new memories. Alumni from various graduating classes enjoyed a delightful day on campus, participating in a range of activities.
At the event held on the Tuzla Campus, booths hosted by alumni entrepreneurs and promotional areas set up by sponsor companies remained open to visitors throughout the day. Participants took souvenir photos in their graduation caps and gowns and engaged in activities across the campus, including horseback riding, mini-football, grass volleyball, and various games.
Vibrant Activities for Alumni and Their Families
The event, attended by alumni alongside their families and children, featured a variety of workshops and entertaining activities designed for all age groups. The program included tote bag painting, jewelry design, and mind games, as well as a virtual reality experience hosted in the Co-Space (Collaboration Space) at the Information Center.
DJ performances and live music provided a lively backdrop throughout the day, while an inflatable playground, giant Jenga, and various game zones offered participants plenty of fun moments.
Commemorative Medals for Alumni Celebrating Their 10th and 20th Anniversaries
One of the day's highlights was the medal ceremony held for Sabancı University alumni celebrating the 10th and 20th anniversaries of their graduation. Commemorative medals symbolizing their ties to the campus and the years they spent together were presented to alumni celebrating the 10th and 20th anniversaries of their graduation.
Support for the Make a Promise for the Future Scholarship Program
Sabancı University’s Make a Promise for the Future Scholarship Program was also showcased during the event. The program included a speech by a scholarship recipient, and a prize draw was held to raise funds for the education of successful students in need of financial support.
This prize draw, which enabled alumni to support the scholarship program, also served as a means to extend the solidarity within the Sabancı University community to the next generation of students.
