Sabancı University Graduate Abdulkadir Uzun Wins First Prize in Antenna Design Competition

Abdulkadir Uzun, a graduate of the Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, won the First Prize in the “IEEE AP/MTT/EMC/ED Antenna Design Award” competition held as part of the URSI-TR 2026 National Conference at Kastamonu University.

Uzun participated in the 13th edition of the URSI-TR 2026 National Conference with his study titled “Circular Antenna Arrays Generating Orbital Angular Momentum: Single and Dual Polarization Examples.” Through this work in the field of antenna technologies, Abdulkadir Uzun was awarded first place in the “IEEE AP/MTT/EMC/ED Antenna Design Award” competition.
