Euronova Advanced Generation Sustainable Plastic Materials Company, founded by Burcu Saner Okan, faculty member of the Materials Science and Nanoengineering program, in partnership with Sabancı University Inovent, broke new ground by receiving a major investment in its field.
The investment tour made in exchange for shares in Euronova was held under the leadership of Ahu Serter, Chair of the Board of Directors of Fark Holding, which operates in the automotive sector, entrepreneur, and angel investor, was also attended by Fark Holding CEO Ömer Burhanoğlu, Farplas CEO Emin Ataç, and Farplas Executive Board Member Tolga Yalgı.

Regarding the investment received by Euronova, which was founded in 2024, a ceremony was held at Sabancı University with the participation of Sabancı University Founding Chair of the Board of Trustees Güler Sabancı, Sabancı University President Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici, and Fark Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahu Serter. At the ceremony, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Director Ziya Alpay also gave information about the investment. Sabancı University Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici and Fark Holding Chair of the Board of Directors Ahu Serter also shared their opinions about the investment with the guests and academics.
