Ahmet Baran, a national athlete from Sabancı University, won the silver medal in the Senior Men's category coming second in Turkey in the 101st Year of the Republic Cup competition organized by the Turkish Shooting Federation in Mersin on November 22-24.
Ahmet Baran, who started shooting at the age of 12, joined the national team in 2021. Baran, who is still an active national athlete, holds 6 Turkish records. The national athlete has also achieved fourth place as a team member in the European and World Championships, and has an individual sixth place in the World Cup as the Youngest Finalist.
