Prof. Asen Asenov from the University of Glasgow, gave a seminar entitled “Inflection Points and Emerging Trends in CMOS Technology: Beyond Moore's Law” at Sabancı University on 22 May 2025.
Prof. Asenov is the James Watt Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Glasgow, Executive Chairman of Green Silicon Carbide Manufacturing (BG), and CEO of Semiwise Ltd. (UK) and Advanced Microelectronics Associates (BG). He also co-founded Gold Standard Simulations (UK), which was acquired by Synopsys in 2016.
With 1000+ publications on semiconductor device modeling and simulation over four decades, including advanced CMOS and power electronics, Prof. Asenov is a globally recognized, leading expert in the field.
During his visit, he gave a seminar entitled “Inflection Points and Emerging Trends in CMOS Technology: Beyond Moore's Law” and shared valuable insights into his work in the UK and Bulgaria, engaging in fruitful discussions on potential collaborations with the Turkish semiconductor ecosystem.
