Our faculty members Ayesha Asloob Qureshi, Hatice Sinem Şaş Çaycı and Melek Akın Ateş have been found deserving of the BAGEP 2024 award given by the Academy of Science.
The 2024 results of the Young Scientists Award Program BAGEP, which was launched in 2013 by the Academy of Science, have been announced.
This award is given to outstanding scientists who are under the age of 40. Ayesha Asloob Qureshi, member of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, has been found deserving of an award in the field of mathematics. HaticeSinem Şaş Çaycı, member of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences has been awarded in the field of mechanical engineering, and Melek Akın Ateş of Sabancı Business School in the field of business administration.
The Young Scientists Award Program of the Academy of Science aims to recognize and reward the best young academics, support them for new research, encourage young people to do scientific studies and reward good examples. Young scientists who win the BAGEP award are given research support of 80,000 TL per year for two years.
