The third annual Traditional SUBUH Iftar, held at Sabancı University, brought together academics, administrative staff, and students for a meaningful gathering. The event, held on March 5, 2026 / 15 Ramadan 1447, hosted over 1100 participants from various regions of Türkiye and the world.

SUBUH is a student club that aims to build bridges between different cultures. Founded in 2024, the club aims to increase interaction between local and international students on campus. In this regard, it organizes many events, from cultural workshops where students from different countries introduce their own cultures to conferences on universal culture and civilization. The traditional iftar program, which brings together academics and students, also holds an important place among these events.

This valuable event was more than just an iftar dinner; it was a precious gathering where alumni, academics, and students came together, interacted, and fostered camaraderie among individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Participants had the opportunity to meet each other, share experiences, and forge new friendships throughout the event.

Feedback from participants after the event also revealed that the event was an unforgettable experience for the Sabancı University community. The internationally attended iftar program once again emphasized the importance of cultural diversity and the culture of living together.

Aiming to further improve its activities each term, SUBUH Club, with its dynamic team, plans to continue organizing events that bring different cultures together in the coming years.
