Applications have started within the scope of the call for participation in the International Conference on Gender Studies in Turkey, which will be held for the second time this year by Sabancı University Gender and Women's Studies Center of Excellence (SU Gender).
The conference, which will be held in Istanbul on 7-8 December 2024, aims to address the leading issues of gender studies on an interdisciplinary and intersectional basis and to make visible the contribution of feminist and queer perspectives, theories, and methods to knowledge and policy production in today's world, where social inequalities are increasing.

For application, an abstract of maximum 250 words (depending on presentation choice - English or Turkish) and a short CV should be sent to genderconf@sabanciuniv.edu.
This year, a limited number of workshop proposals will be accepted, provided that they are related to the theme of the conference. Those who want to organize a workshop for conference participants can send a brief description of the workshop (maximum 250 words) and a short biography, including information about the content and format, to genderconf@sabanciuniv.edu.
The deadline for submitting papers is August 1, 2024.
Authors of accepted papers will be informed on October 1, 2024.
