EMBO Encourages Reverse Brain Drain

Considered one of the most respected research networks in the field of life sciences across Europe and the world, EMBO supports young researchers in establishing their own research groups and conducting independent and sustainable scientific studies. EMBO IG award recipients are included in the international EMBO Young Investigator network, benefiting from all the advantages of this network, particularly those aimed at increasing international collaboration. EMBO also encourages reverse brain drain by supporting the flow of scientific knowledge between countries and enabling young scientists to conduct research in their own countries through Installation Grants.
