Mehmet Kani Polat, a graduate of Sabancı University, achieved another great success by taking to the podium once again at the 2025 European University Combat Sports Championships organised by the European University Sports Association (EUSA).
Competing in the men's 74 kg category at the championship held in Warsaw, Poland, between 22 and 25 August 2025, Polat won the gold medal. With this result, our athlete secured the title of European Champion for the fourth consecutive time, bringing great pride to both Sabancı University and our country.
