Sabancı University Mechatronics Engineering doctoral student Rana Altay's work titled "A HYBRID SPIRAL MICROFLUIDIC PLATFORM FOR SEPARATION OF CIRCULATING TUMOR CELLS", prepared with FENS/SUNUM faculty members Ali Koşar and Murat Kaya Yapıcı has been accepted to the 25th International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (MicroTAS 2021).

Sabancı University’s 19^th undergraduate and 22^nd graduate classes’ commencement ceremony was held physically on the campus in Tuzla.

Zeynep Çelik has been named the inaugural Sakıp Sabancı Visiting Professor at the Sakıp Sabancı Center for Turkish Studies at Columbia University. Her deep expertise and unique historical perspective on the architecture and urbanism of the region will enhance the Sabancı Center’s goals.

Starting from 2021-2022 academic year, two new Ph.D. programs by Graduate School of Social Sciences will be accepting students who aim to get a degree on Experimental Psychology and Social Psychology.

A collaboration has been established between Sabancı University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and the international residency program Gate 27 in Istanbul, Yeniköy and Balıkesir, Ayvalık. The residency program provides an interdisciplinary cultural platform for research and production by inviting artists, curators, researchers and academics in various fields related to the arts.
