Industrial Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering degree programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences have been accredited by MÜDEK as of 1 May 2017.
Our Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics Engineering degree programs were accredited on 1 May 2016.
MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs) is the only authorized association in Turkey for accreditation of engineering undergraduate programs.

“QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Top Universities Under 50" rankings were revealed. The system uses the same methodology as the QS World University Rankings to determine the top universities under 50 years of age. Sabancı University ranked between 61st and 70th.

The "Gürsel Sönmez Awards" established in 2006 in memory of the late Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences member and valued scientist Gürsel Sönmez were given for the 11th time this year.
Awards in honor of the late Sabancı University Faculty Member Gürsel Sönmez, who passed away in 2006, were presented during the Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, July 1, 2017.
