The Sabancı University Economics and Management Club (EIK) honored individuals and programs closely followed by young people with the EIK Award Ceremony. In the event, in which the best ones of the year were evaluated in 21 categories, the winners were determined by Sabancı University students, staff, and faculty members. In this event, held for the first time this year, Güler Sabancı, Founding Chair of the Sabancı University Board of Trustees, received the Honorary Award.
The Sabancı University Economics and Management Club (EIK), one of the oldest and most interactive student clubs at Sabancı University, held its first ever EIK Awards Ceremony on December 25, 2025, at the Sabancı University Performing Arts Center. At the ceremony, the Sabancı University Economics and Management Club honored individuals and programs closely followed by young audiences in 21 categories ranging from cinema and theater to music, advertising campaigns, social impact projects, and media. The EIK Awards Ceremony, where the best ones of the year were determined by votes from students, academics, and university staff, presented the Honorary Award to Güler Sabancı, Founding Chair of the Sabancı University Board of Trustees.

Addressing the students at the award ceremony, Güler Sabancı emphasized that the honorary award bestowed upon her was one of the most valuable awards she had ever received, saying, “I thank EIK and everyone involved for this award, which is a New Year's gift to me. What I also find very important in this particular event is that these awards are determined directly by the votes of young people. In other words, every award given here reflects the interest and appreciation of young people. I also see this event, which is carried out by young people taking full responsibility, as a very good example. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our guests, artists, valuable figures from the media and business world, and especially Sabancı University alumni who received awards tonight. At the same time, I congratulate all our students who made this evening possible. I wish you all a healthy, happy, successful, and beautiful year in a peaceful world.”
Sabancı University alumni achievements were also recognized.
The EIK Award Ceremony was organized to create role models by bringing students together with success stories, to increase the motivation of young people, and to support the visibility of the university. At the ceremony, Demet Özdemir was awarded the "Best Actress" award, while Mert Yazıcıoğlu received the "Best Actor" award. The achievements of Sabancı University alumni were also recognized in the categories of "Social Transformation Leader Award", "Social Entrepreneur from SU Award" and "EIK-Member Alumni Achievement Award", which were created specifically for the university's alumni. The event offered a lively program with a red-carpet ceremony, sponsor stands, test drive areas, live music, dance performances, photo areas, and networking sections.
EIK, operating since 1999, has over 1000 members.
EIK has been operating since 1999 with the aim of preparing students for professional life, bringing them together with important representatives of the business world, and creating a lasting interaction space on campus. As one of Sabancı University's most active student clubs, EIK brings students together with representatives of professional life through many events organized throughout the year, such as the Marketing Summit, Women in Business, Networking Fair, Recruitment Days, and the Grand Gathering. With over 1000 active members, the club took student interaction to a new level this year by organizing an awards ceremony for the first time.
