The 2025 results of the "World's Most Influential Scientists List," published annually by Stanford University and Elsevier, a publisher of science, technology, and health sciences, have been announced. Twelve Sabancı University members were included in the "Career-Long" impact category, and 12 members of our university were included in the "Single-Year" impact category, placing them among the world's most influential scientists.

The "World's Most Influential Scientists" list, prepared in collaboration with Stanford University and Elsevier, ranks academics who conduct research and publish articles worldwide by creating a comprehensive scientific impact index. The ranking includes the top 100,000 scientists based on the scientific impact index, as well as academics who rank in the top 2% in their respective fields. The scientific impact index is calculated by combining various metrics, such as the total number of citations and the h-index.
