Sabancı University's valued friend, the world-renowned Italian astrophysics professor and amateur architectural photographer Tomaso Belloni (1941–2023), is being commemorated with a special exhibition at the university.
Belloni, who visited the university many times as part of his collaborative work with astrophysicists from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, took photographs on campus with analog cameras and mobile phones during these visits. These photographs have been brought together for the first time as part of Sabancı University's 25th anniversary.
Bringing together scientific production and artistic perspective, this selection also sheds light on the strong bond Belloni established with Sabancı University. The exhibition invites the university community and art lovers to discover this special encounter.
