FASS/VAVCD faculty member Yoong Wah Alex Wong, Vanishing White photograph series participated in group exhibitions at the United Nations Climate Change Conference, Glasgow Science Centre, Scotland, United Kingdom (31 Oct – 12 Nov 2021) and Berlin Photo Week (20 Aug – 12 Sept 2021), Germany.
Using photography as a means to express ideas and values, the BarTur Photo Award has selected photographers who are pushing essential issues to the forefront, crossing boundaries and helping to bring communities together. In the exhibitions, The BarTur Photo Award is delighted to present 2021 and 2020 winners' selected photographs who have taken images from across the world, championing a range of social, economic and environmental issues impacting so many people's lives.
