A collaboration has been established between Sabancı University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) and the international residency program Gate 27 in Istanbul, Yeniköy and Balıkesir, Ayvalık. The residency program provides an interdisciplinary cultural platform for research and production by inviting artists, curators, researchers and academics in various fields related to the arts.
The collaboration will involve joint projects (workshops, conferences, symposia etc.) between the university’s Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Program, Art Theory and Criticism Minor Program and Gate 27, enabling students, academics and residents to share and network their artistic and cultural production and research.
