The traditional 'lnternational Best Paper Competition' event of the EFSUN SABANCI Center of Excellence was held on August 21, with the presentation of Prof. Emre Erdem. It was a day full of great talks delivered by outstanding young researchers from different discplines.
The organizing committe would like to thank the valuable finalists, jury members, all the people who contributed to this event and all the participants. The participants could learn many things and were updated on the developments in the field of functional surfaces and interfaces. At the end, it was pleasing and motivating to see and enjoy high-quality work.
