The European Researchers' Night event was held on September 27, 2024 at the Sabancı University Composite Technologies Center of Excellence.
Organized within the scope of the European Union project “A Researchers' Night in The Mediterranean (ApuliaMED)”, which is led by Sabancı University Faculty Member Adnan Kefal, this event aims to strengthen interdisciplinary cooperation by bringing together the scientific, cultural, and intellectual heritage of the Mediterranean. Various presentations and workshops were organized at the event to encourage scientific research and increase interdisciplinary interaction.
Throughout the event, expert speakers shared current developments in the world of science and their personal experiences. In addition, interactive experiments organized for participants in advanced technology laboratories attracted great attention. Practical demonstrations, especially on composite processing technologies, robotic applications, and additive manufacturing processes, provided participants with the opportunity to have detailed information about innovation and research processes. The event also provided the opportunity to discuss the social, economic, and cultural impacts of scientific studies.
The event, which was held with the participation of researchers, students, and industry representatives, was highly productive in terms of information exchange and cooperation opportunities.
