Gender and Literature Seminars Fall 2024 Program Begins

The “Gender and Literature Seminars Fall 2024 Program” organized by Sabancı University Gender and Women’s Studies Center of Excellence (SU Gender) is beginning.

The relationship between gender and literature will be discussed in depth in the seminars to be held every Saturday for 6 weeks between October 26 and November 30, 2024, at Karaköy Minerva Han.

In the seminars to be given by academics from Sabancı University and various institutions, important works of the literary world will be examined from a gender perspective, and discussions will be held on various topics such as the development of feminist literary criticism, how gender is treated in literary texts, the shaping of literature with gender and its re-evaluation from a feminist perspective, and gender in works from world and Turkish literature.

Important Information:

-The program is open to everyone and the quota is limited.

-Priority will be given to candidates who have participated in the Purple Certificate Program.

-Participation is subject to a fee.

-To participate in the program, you must fill out the online application form and pay the participation fee* after the confirmation email that will be sent to you.

-The bank account information for the participation fee will be specified in the confirmation email.

-At the end of the program, participants who have attended at least 4 sessions will be given a participation certificate.

Participation Fee: 4,000 TL (VAT Included)

Participation Fee for Students/ Teachers/ SU Members: 3,600 TL (VAT Included)
