Sabancı University has achieved significant success within the scope of "Individual Young Enterprise" (BİGG), which is TÜBİTAK's 1512 Technopreneurship Capital Support Program.
In the BiGG 2023-1 term results, 8 startups led by Sabancı University Inovent received the Seal of Excellence from TÜBİTAK. They were entitled to investment support of 900,000 TL. 8 startups that have successfully completed the 2nd Stage evaluation processes carried out by TÜBİTAK will establish companies to benefit from the "Entrepreneurship Support Program".
Among the 37 executing organizations within the scope of the program, Sabancı University Inovent, which has the status of an intellectual property management company and Technology Transfer Office (TTO), carries out the BiGG 1st stage processes, collecting and evaluating startup applications with technology-oriented business ideas, and pre-incubating the appropriate business ideas. It provided support to 15 startups in the process of validating business ideas and preparing qualified business plans.
Among these enterprises, 8 were entitled to investment support of 900,000 TL. Among the successful initiatives are the entrepreneurial ideas of our faculty members Adnan Kefal and Murat Kaya Yapıcı, our doctoral student Mehmet Sinan Tubcil, and our undergraduate student Bensu Gümüş.
