Sabancı University Istanbul International Center for Energy and Climate (IICEC) is holding a conference entitled “Global Energy Crisis: Solutions & the Role of Renewable Energy”.
The opening speech of the conference, which will be physically held at the Sabancı Center on Friday, December 23, 2022, between 10:00 and 12:30, will be delivered by Güler Sabancı, the Founding Chair of the Sabancı University Board of Trustees. Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and Honorary Chair of IICEC, will be the keynote speaker of the conference. At the conference, IICEC Director Bora Şekip Güray will make the launch presentation of the IICEC “Türkiye Renewable Energy Outlook 2022 Report”.
The conference will be followed by a panel. The speakers of the panel, which will be moderated by Sabancı Holding Energy Group President Kıvanç Zaimler, are Zorlu Energy CEO Sinan Ak, ING Türkiye Wholesale Banking Executive Vice President Ayşegül Akay, Borusan EnBW Enerji General Manager Enis Amasyalı, Shell Türkiye Country Chair Ahmet Erdem, and Sanko Energy CEO Hakan Yıldırım.
