SU Gender is organizing the International Gender Studies in Turkey Conference on December 9-10, 2023. The conference will be held for the first time this year, and it aims to create a platform where current research on Turkey and gender studies in Turkey will be presented, discussed and researchers will meet at regular intervals.
The conference also aims to address the leading issues of gender studies on an interdisciplinary and intersectional basis and to make visible the contribution of feminist and queer perspectives, theories and methodologies and policy production in today's world where social inequalities are increasing.
