Sabancı University School of Management establishes Article Awards in memory of Hakan Orbay. Planned to be held every year, the Article Awards aim to encourage original work by young researchers in finance and microeconomics. This year’s application deadline is May 15, 2014.

Established by the Sabancı University Gender and Women’s Studies Forum in memory of academic and activist Dicle Koğacıoğlu, this year’s awards were presented on Saturday, December 28 at a ceremony following a student conference at the Minerva Palas in Karaköy.

In response to the requests and efforts of our university, public transport is now available between the Kartal Metro Station and Sabancı University.
The 132T line will depart from the shuttle departure area on campus. 132T, Kartal Metro - Sabancı University service will be available on weekdays only with a fare of one ticket.

The Student Union of Turkey has established a new committee named European Student Union Committee in the venture to be a full member of European Student Union. Our Student Union members have been selected to this committee: Çağlar GENÇ as President, Melis YAZICIOĞLU as Secretary-General, Mert ÇULHA, Ömer MUTÇALI and Umut Alihan DİKEL as Board Members. We would like to congratulate our Student Union its leadership in this critical candidature process of Turkey.

Students who have Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate diplomas or students enrolled at universities other than Sabancı University can apply to the courses offered by Sabancı University to participate as special students. The candidates apply for special student status should firstly meet the requirements determined by the relevant Faculty/Graduate School for the level of English.
