Sabancı University “Family and Education Day” will take place at the Sabancı University campus in Tuzla on Saturday, November 2, 2013.  The event will kick off at the Sabancı University Performing Arts Center with introductory remarks by President Nihat Berker.

Dr. Burcu Saner Okan, one of SUNUM’s researchers, received 100,000 TL in the scope of Tubitak 1512 Multiphase Entrepreneurship Grant Program. She prepared business idea and plan with Prof. Dr. Yusuf Menceloğlu together.

1208 project proposals were submitted in the first stage. After evaluation process, 140 project proposals were chosen to receive capital support in the second stage.

The Sabancı University School of Management hosted a group of 18 Executive MBA students in Istanbul.  Among the group, 12 students were from schools that participate in the Executive MBA Consortium, of which the School of Management is a member, and 6 were Sabancı University Executive MBA students.

The Sabancı University School of Management invited Paul Polman, the CEO of Unilever, one of the leading global fast moving consumer goods companies, for a lecture.
Paul Polman will give a lecture titled “Creating a Better Future Everyday Made By You” at the Sabancı University Performing Arts Center on Monday, November 4, 2013, between 2.40 pm and 3.40 pm.

This year's theme for the annual Sakıp Sabancı International Research Awards given by Sabancı University has been chosen as “Gender Equality in Turkey.” The deadline for submissions is March 28, 2014.

IPC has been accepted to EuroMeSCo (the Euro-Mediterranean Study Commission) by the General Assembly of the network on October 3, 2013.

Why did we need a new website?

Aytaç Göğüş from the Center for Individual and Academic Development contributed to the Encyclopedia of Creativity, Invention, Innovation and Entrepreneurship as an author of the chapter “Brainstorming and Invention”.

Springer has published the Encyclopedia of Creativity, Invention, Innovation and Entrepreneurship edited by Elias G. Carayannis. This encyclopedia, which is the first of its nature, scale and scope, brings together theories, practices and policies related to the nature and dynamics of creativity, invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
