Ceyda Atay Haga, a 2010 graduate of Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, has been selected among the top 50 female leaders in the field of technology in Norway.
Our graduate, who has been included in the "Norway Top 50 Women in Tech" list, jointly announced by ODA Nettverk and Abelia every March since 2017, currently lives in Norway and works in the consultancy sector.
ODA Nettverk is a professional network in Northern Europe committed to diversity in technology and has more than 7,500 members with more than 75 employer partners from different sectors. Abelia is a non-profit trade and employers' association affiliated with NHO (Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise), Norway's largest employer organization.
The evaluation process of the award, which is given to highlight talents and good role models and to inspire more women to choose technology and management as a career path, begins with a public nomination phase on the website. The 50 winners are then selected by a jury of 10 Norwegian technology leaders. This year, the number of candidates was more than 700 in the first stage.
This success of our graduate was influenced by a large-scale technological transformation project that she led as a management consultant in a telecommunications company operating in Scandinavia during 2022-23 and the positive outcomes of this project, as well as the mentoring work she carried out with consultants in the field of technology in Northern Europe at the company she worked for.
