Sabancı University partners with Farplas to continue the production of face shields to supply more personal protective equipment to help in the fight against Covid-19. Since March, 1500 face shields have been made within the Sabancı University Collaboration Space with plastic materials supplied by Farplas. The face shields made with the cooperation of Farplas and Sabancı University have been given to a number of institutions from the Tuzla Police to the Malatya Yeşilyurt Hasan Çalık Public Hospital.
