Sabancı University Executive Development Unit (EDU) participated in the UNICON Directors’ Conference 2026, hosted by IMD in Lausanne.

As the first and only full member of UNICON in Türkiye, EDU took part in this important international gathering, having the opportunity to discuss the future of executive education with the world's best schools throughout the three-day conference. Key themes of the conference included the impact of artificial intelligence on educational content and methods, the reflection of geopolitical developments on institutional priorities, new needs in leadership development, and resilience. 

 

 

In sessions featuring executive development units from leading universities such as Harvard, MIT Sloan, Stanford, Yale, University of Michigan, Columbia University, London School of Economics, Imperial College, Oxford Said, Manchester Alliance, and Insead, participants exchanged views on how artificial intelligence is being utilized in executive education, the impact of changing global dynamics on the business world, and how leaders can be supported in an environment of uncertainty. On the final day of the conference, noteworthy assessments were shared on the importance of resilience, recovery, and human connections in leadership.
