Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences brought together its academic staff with the “Faculty Search Conference” on June 3, 2025.
The conference, which started at 08:30 in the morning and continued until 19:30 in the evening, was held at the Istanbul Pendik Marriott Hotel under the leadership of our Dean Prof. Dr. Erkay Savaş. Our President Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici, Vice President for Research Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yıldız, SUNUM Director Prof. Dr. Alpagut Kara, our faculty members, instructors, research assistants, faculty administrative staff members, and many experts and researchers from SUATT, RPD, and SUNUM attended the conference.
The conference provided an important opportunity for faculty members to come together, exchange ideas, and discuss future growth and excellence strategies. Current challenges in higher education and scientific research, as well as opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and the ethical, technological, and pedagogical issues it brings, were also discussed.
The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences aims to guide the faculty's future growth, excellence, and innovation strategies by bringing together the experience and expertise of the academic community.
