Our president Yusuf Leblebici has paid an official visit to National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NCTU), which is one of the largest and most prominent universities in Taiwan.
Meeting with the NCTU president, Prof. Dr. Chi-Hung Lin and other members of the university administration, Yusuf Leblebici emphasized the importance of increasing the collaboration between Sabanci University and NCTU, by expanding the scope of the existing collaboration agreement and the dual-degree PhD program. Mutual agreement has been reached to further strengthen the cooperation with NCTU, which boasts world-class research infrastructure in areas such as microelectronics, nanotechnologies, and semiconductors.
Yusuf Leblebici has also held high-level meetings with the leaders of Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and the Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association. Close relations with Taiwan, which is one of the fastest developing nations in Asia especially in the domain of advanced technologies, will continue to carry significant importance for Sabanci University.
